MAN Technology MC series engines use multi-ribbed belts to transmit power to generators, refrigeration compressors, water pumps and air compressors. Compared with the ordinary V-belt, the V-ribbed belt has the advantages of large transmission power, high transmission efficiency, long life, and small transmission vibration. There are one V-ribbed belt for MC11 and MC13 engines, two for MC05 and MC07 when the air conditioner compressor is installed, and one without additional installation. The ones discussed here are all basic types, and variants are not included here.
